It sounds like you have a fascinating itinerary! Starting with a visit to the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh, you’ll witness one of the most unique religious practices in Vietnam. The temple itself is vibrant, with striking architecture, and the midday service is a colorful blend of Caodaism’s diverse religious influences.

Afterward, the Cu Chi Tunnels offer a deep dive into Vietnam’s history, showcasing the resilience and ingenuity of those who used them during the war. Walking through the intricate, claustrophobic tunnels gives you a sense of how the guerrilla fighters navigated and survived in this underground world. Departs from Saigon to Mekong Delta, embark on boat and discover the lush beauty of the Mekong Delta as you wind your way down narrow canals on a sampan that glides along fruit orchards, paddy fields and sleepy villages; you will have chance to take the leisure bike ride on the island, wave your hands and say “xin chao” to the children and people on the village roads.

Furthermore, admiring the local life along the banks and enjoying your cocktails at sunset will not be missed.

Last early bird of the trip (at around 6.30 am) with a visit by boat to the famed Cairang floating market, it’s a unique opportunity to see how local vendors trade their fresh produce directly from their boats, and the vibrant colors of fruits and vegetables floating around create a beautiful scene. The friendly smiles and interactions from the vendors add warmth to the hustle of the market.

After that lively experience, the drive back to Saigon will allow for some relaxation and reflection on the Mekong Delta’s rich culture before concluding another night in the bustling city.
