Our driver and private tour-guide will pick you up after your breakfast at your hotel in Saigon to transfer to CaiBe. The program will start with a quick visit of Cai Be local market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. We can walk around the orchard and enjoy some fruits while listening to the traditional music at the local garden. The rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time.
Back to our boat to go across one of the longest rivers in the world, Mekong River, to come to An Bình Island in Vinh Long province. Travel on the handmade canal to Ut Trinh home and have lunch. After lunch, we can walk in the local village to visit the local workshop to see how to make rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice… Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea.
Continue to explore the beauty of Mekong by a leisure bike ride on the island. It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local daily life and interact with local people. You may wave your hand with fun while biking on the road without traffic and say “xin chào” to the children. Last but not least, you will visit the brick kilns to see how people create pottery from clay.
The cruise will end at Vinh Long! Say goodbye to the Mekong Delta and get on our private car driving back to Saigon.
